CLEAR FORK – Kaitlyn Lester had a double-double as Westside bounced back from a season-opening loss with a victory over visiting Shady Spring Thursday.
Lester had 15 points and 13 rebounds in the victory and Rylee Brown had 13 points, including three of the Renegades’ four 3s.
Westside led 24-17 at the half, but used a 17-4 third quarter to pull away.
Sharpshooter Kendra Pizzino led the Tigers with 13 points.
For Westside Sarah Lilly had eight points and 10 rebounds and Daisha Cline had nine rebounds.
