Balanced scoring Westside got 15 points from Bryson Blankenship and 12 from Brayden French in a victory over county rival Wyoming East.

The Renegades were 16 of 23 at the line while Wyoming East was 1-2.

Cole Lambert led the Warriors with 33 of his team’s 44 points.

East now leads the all-time series 30-29 and the two could meet up in the sectional tournament next month.

James Monroe 62, Greenbrier West 59 (OT)

James Monroe extended its series streak against Greenbrier West to seven in a row, but it wasn’t easy.

The Mavericks had to go to overtime and outscore the Cavaliers 9-6 to pull out the win, improving the Mavericks to 7-2 on the season.

Braydon McClung was on fire for the Mavericks with 39.

Cooper Ridgeway had 16 for JM.

Brent Conley had 14 to lead the Red Devils, Malachi Lewis had 12 and Cole Nelson 10.
