Summers County 52, Ritchie County 40
A big dose Brandon Isaac in the first half and Ayden Plumley in the second was enough to give the Bobcats the win in the consolation game Saturday in the Ritchie County Holiday Tournament.
Isaac had 16 in the first half as the Bobcats led 27-16 led.
Ritchie cut the lead in half after three but led by Plumley’s 13 in the fourth (15 in the second half) the Bobcats rolled to the win.
Isaac Hodges had 21 to lead Ritchie County.
Summers County (3-2) plays Westside in the New River CTC Friday.

Colby Barr had 31 points and Preston Luzador added 26 as Clay-Battelle knocked off Greenbrier West Saturday.
Clay Battelle, a Class A State tournament semifinalist last season, used a 30-point second quarter to open a 47-23 halftime lead.
Braydon McClung had 15 points to lead Greenbrier West. Aiden Crane had nine.
Greenbrier West (2-4) plays Independence in the New River CTC Thursday at 2:45 p.m.
