SUMMERSVILLE – Wyoming East used a 21-9 advantage in the second quarter to take a 34-19 lead the Warriors to a win in the Winter Classic.
It was the fourth game in five days for Wyoming East (8-2).
Maddie Clark led the Warriors with 22 points, Cadee Blackburn added 14 and Abi Baker 11.
James Monroe (6-3) was led by Maggie Boroski who had 20 points. Mary Beth Meadows had nine.
The Mavericks hosts Mercer Christian Tuesday. Wyoming East will play Princeton in the New River CTC Wednesday at 2:45 p.m.
